Current CAD CAM is a long way from the old green screen CRTs I was 1st introduced to. I started in the late 1980's at American Motors with Prime-Lundy (both long faded into the history books) developed by Ford for Body drafting.

I have about 20 years on CATIA V5. It is an amazing and complex software that was originally designed for the aerospace industry. It is a very precision piece of software.

I have used Rhino for about as many years but with my retirement from Engineering and subsequent introduction to teaching it became necessary to use it more. The Design college student body is usually introduced to it at some point or another. I have taught the basics but primarily use it in support of upper class-men in FAD for last modification and heel design.
